Elçin Sangu is a Circassian Turkish actress and model born on August 13, 1985 in Izmir. His mother is Muyesser Ses. She became one of the most sought-after and highest-paid celebrities in Turkey by taking part in television commercials and campaigns. Before starting her acting career, she studied Opera at Mersin University. She won the Theater Department of Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts with a scholarship. She was a stage actor before appearing in television series.


June January 2017, she is best known for her role as “Defne” in the romantic comedy series Kiralık Aşk, which aired on Star TV from June 2015 until its finale in January 2017. Sangu completed his university education at the Opera department of Mersin University, and after studying acting at the Stage Powder Theater, she began to take part in TV series as an actress.


She first became known in 2011 with the character of Jale in the TV series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki.
