Barış Telli was born on September 24, 1989 in Kırıkkale and lost his right leg in a traffic accident in 1993. With his positive character and great support from his family, this situation did not prevent him and he started his dream sports career in the gymnastics team of Ismet Aydınlı Elementary School, where Nevzat Kankuş was a student for the first time.

in 2005, while he was still a high school student, Karagücü Amputee Football Team and his teacher B. He met through Murat Altintas. in 2009, he broke the record with 49 goals and became the top scorer of the Amputee Football Super League.

While he was a student at Gazi University School of Physical Education and Sports, she started to prepare for the Paralympic Games with the guidance of her teacher Hacı Ahmet Pekel.

he got a special running prosthesis in 2012 with the support of the sports man Hadi Neşet Türkmen, whom she met in 2009. Less than a year later, he won three gold medals in 100m running, high jump and long jump at the 2013 Turkish Athletics Championships and started representing her country as a national athlete.
