Nazan Kesal is a Turkish theater, film and TV actress. She is also a theater and film director.

Her full name is Nazan Kesal Kırılmış.

She was born on March 28, 1969 in Köprübaşı, Manisa.

She has two brothers and a sister.


Nazan Kesal graduated from Salihli Commercial High School after her primary school education.

She graduated from İzmir Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Theater – Acting Department in 1991. Later, she completed his master's degree in the Cinema and TV department of Beykent University. After completing her education, Nazan Kesal settled in Istanbul and starred in TV series, cinema and advertising films. between 1996 and 2004, he worked as an actress and director at the General Directorate of Diyarbakır State Theaters. Dec. appointed to the Bursa State Theater at the beginning of 2004, the artist has also worked in private ensembles such as Ankara Sanatevi Theater, Theater Ayna, Theater Istanbul, Diyarbakir Art Center. Since 1992, she has starred in dozens of theater plays, TV series and motion pictures. She was awarded with awards and nominations for her performances in productions such as İklimler, Saç, Daire, Toz Bezi.

She started his television adventure with the series “Super Baba”. She drew attention with the character ’Meryem‘ portrayed in the Kayıp Şehir’series. Currently, she plays the character of Şahika Köksal in Bir Peri Masalı series that is being broadcast on the FOX TV television channel.
